Klamath County, OR – The Oregon State Police is investigating a deadly two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Klamath County that claimed the life of Terryl Thomas Ball, 47, of Crescent Lake Junction on Friday.
The deadly crash happened on May 3, 2025, at about 12:23 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 58 and Crescent Lake Highway.
Oregon State Police said Terryl Ball was riding a Yamaha TW200 motorcycle northbound on Crescent Lake when he entered Highway 58 and struck the side of a westbound Freightliner commercial motor vehicle and trailer, driven by Hattan Seraj Alotaibi, 32, of Clackamas.
Ball sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
Alotaibi was reportedly uninjured.
Authorities said the highway was shut down for about two and a half hours as investigators worked at the scene.
