The driver of the vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

Bellevue, WA. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Friday night in Bellevue.
According to the Bellevue Police Department, the accident happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of NE 8th Street and 116th Avenue Northeast.
An 18-year-old man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he collided with a vehicle heading westbound through the intersection.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
