Winnetka, IL. – Sediqeh Samadi, 37, has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car on Friday evening in Winnetka.
According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 6 p.m. near Church Road and Meadow Road.
Samadi and a female pedestrian were in the roadway with a child in a stroller when a vehicle hit them.
Samadi and the unidentified woman were killed in the accident, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The child was transported to hospital in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
