Police believe the woman may have suffered a medical episode prior to the collision
Las Vegas, NV. – A woman was killed in a car accident on Monday evening in North Las Vegas.
According to the police, the accident happened around 10:50 p.m. near the intersection of Losee and Ann roads.
A blue Mercedes drove northbound on Losee Road when it hit construction barrels before crashing into three vehicles stopped at a red light.
The driver of the Mercedes, 63-year-old Linda Som, of North Las Vegas, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Impairment does not appear to be a factor, but police believe the woman may have suffered a medical episode.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
