Skokie, IL. – One person was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday morning in Skokie.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 3:50 a.m. on Edens Expressway near Touhy Avenue.
A semi-truck and a vehicle were involved in the collision. The semi-truck struck the support beams on the Touhy bridge while the car veered off the roadway and landed in a ditch.
One person was killed in the accident.
Another person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
