Reno, NV. – A Good Samaritan died after being struck by a car in Reno on Saturday in Reno.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), the accident happened around 2:15 a.m. on Interstate 580 southbound just south of State Route 431/Mt. Rose Highway.

A single-vehicle collision occurred on the freeway and a Good Samaritan who witnessed the crash stopped to help.

A second vehicle crashed into the disabled vehicle and struck the Good Samaritan.

The Good Samaritan, an adult female, was killed in the accident.

More details about the accident were not released.
