The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office deputies received reports regarding the deadly wreck at around 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of Schnepf and Combs Roads.

San Tan Valley, AZ – A woman was killed and two other people injured after an early Sunday morning two-vehicle collision near an intersection in Pinal County.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office deputies received reports regarding the deadly wreck at around 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of Schnepf and Combs Roads.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 24-year-old woman was driving a Ford Fusion under the influence of alcohol when she hit a Nissan Sentra driven by the deceased.
The woman driving the Sentra was taken to a local hospital where she died later.
The other driver suffered minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene.
One passenger in the Ford Fusion was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 24-year-old woman was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center and faces charges of manslaughter, DUI alcohol, aggravated assault, and endangerment.
