The Frankton woman driving the Toyota was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition

Madison County, IN. – A 61-year-old Frankton woman was airlifted after being injured in a collision at an intersection in Madison County on Wednesday morning.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 6:20 a.m. at 200 West and 700 North.
A 2024 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2000 Chevy S-10 pickup truck.
The Frankton woman driving the Toyota was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.
The pickup truck driver was treated at a hospital and released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
