According to the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, the accident happened in the area of State Route 28 and Gonowabie Road at around 6:05 a.m.
Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Two people were injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
