Multiple drivers and passengers were transported to hospital with minor injuries
Wagon Wheel, N.M. – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Wagon Wheel.
According to the Torrance County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on eastbound Interstate 40 near mile marker 209.
At least fifteen vehicles were involved in five separate crashes on the freeway. Preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle hit their brakes due to visibility issues and drivers behind them crashed.
Multiple drivers and passengers were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
