Motorcyclist injured in collision on Interstate 80 in Patrick
Patrick, NV. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being injured in a collision early Thursday morning in Patrick.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:20 a.m. on Interstate 80.
A Lexus sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver quickly switched lanes to get around a car in front of them and crashed into the back of a Honda motorcycle.
The rider was injured and was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The Lexus driver was cited for speeding.
