Piatt County, IL. – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Monday night in Piatt County.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 11:53 p.m. on Interstate 74 at milepost 167.
A passenger vehicle was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when it collided head-on with a truck tractor semi-trailer.
The driver of the car was killed in the accident.
