Vernon, IL. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Friday afternoon in Vernon.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 2:58 p.m. on US 51 at Lair Street.
A car reportedly crashed into a school bus in unclear circumstances.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The bus driver was unhurt.
