One person killed in multi-vehicle collision on 580 Freeway near Moana Lane in Reno
Reno, NV. – At least one person was killed in a collision on Saturday morning in Reno.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7 a.m. on Interstate 580 Freeway near Moana Lane.
A truck reportedly rear-ended a car, ejecting two people from the car.
The truck then hit a third car while the vehicle that was rear-ended crashed into another vehicle.
A passenger of one of the cars was killed in the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
