Albuquerque, N.M. – A pedestrian was killed in a collision that took place in Albuquerque early Thursday morning, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.
The accident took place on Central Avenue and San Mateo Boulevard at about 3 a.m. April 10.
According to the police, a pedestrian was standing in the roadway when they were hit by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The driver, identified as Nickolis Taber, 31, reportedly fled the scene after the accident.
Taber was later located and arrested following the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
