Carrie March was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne where she died while receiving treatment.

Cass County, IN. – Carrie March, 47, has been identified as the woman who died in a car accident that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Cass County.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 3 p.m. on U.S. 24 at County Road 600 East.
March was driving a 2009 Ford Escape northbound on County Road 600 East when she crossed the eastbound lane into the westbound lane of U.S. 24 and collided with a westbound 2019 Nissan Rogue driven by Julia McElheny, 39, of Logansport.
March was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne where she died while receiving treatment.
McElheny and her 3-year-old passenger were transported to IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
