The 51-year-old driver of the second car was taken to the hospital in stable condition

Elkhart, IN. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision early Thursday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Elkhart Police Department, the accident happened around 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of East Mishawaka Road/County Road 20 and Center Drive.
A Cadillac was traveling westbound when it collided with an eastbound Toyota Yaris.
74-year-old Rigoberto Padilla was driving the Yaris and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 51-year-old driver of the second car was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
No additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
