A silver sedan was westbound on 71st Street when the driver disregarded a red light and struck a black Jeep

Chicago, IL. – Four people including a one-year-old boy were injured in a collision in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood of Chicago on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the accident happened in the 7100 block of South State Street at around 11:29 p.m.
A silver sedan was westbound on 71st Street when the driver disregarded a red light and struck a black Jeep that was northbound on State Street.
The 22-year-old man driving the silver sedan was hospitalized as a precaution.
A 22-year-old male passenger of the silver sedan was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center with serious injuries.
A 22-year-old female passenger of the Jeep suffered multiple injuries and was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
A one-year-old boy who was a passenger in the Jeep was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.
