Donisch was rushed to St. Joe’s Hospital where he died while receiving treatment

Channahon, IL. – A man was killed in a car accident that occurred on Monday morning in Channahon.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 7:19 a.m. at Interstate 55 and Arsenal Road.
James Donisch, 38, was driving a Subaru when he lost control, drifted into the opposite lanes and collided with a truck-tractor semi-trailer combination vehicle.
Donisch was rushed to St. Joe’s Hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the semi, a 36-year-old Romeoville man, was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
