Chicago, IL. – A man died after being struck by a car on Monday morning in Chicago.
According to Chicago police, the accident happened around 5 a.m. in the 1100 block of DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
A 72-year-old man was standing in the median and was hit by a northbound Dodge Ram pickup truck operated by a 26-year-old man.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
