Jane Kennedy was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Gurnee, IL. – 74-year-old Jane Kennedy was killed in a collision on Friday afternoon in Gurnee.
According to the Gurnee Police Department, the accident happened around 2:20 p.m. near Grand Avenue and 1st Street.
Kennedy was driving a Subaru Forester eastbound on Grand Avenue when she attempted to turn left onto 1st Street and struck a BMW 340i that was traveling westbound.
Kennedy was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The condition of the BMW’s driver was not disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
