Indianapolis, IN. – An infant was hospitalized in critical condition that left four others injured on Wednesday morning in Indianapolis.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5:15 a.m. near West Walnut Street and North Tibbs Avenue.

A maroon vehicle with a solo occupant was traveling south on Tibbs when it collided with a northbound silver car occupied by four people.

An infant was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Four patients were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.
