Tucson, AZ – A woman was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Tucson early Monday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident happened at around midnight on Pima Street and Alvernon Way.
According to the report, the pedestrian was walking in the area when she was hit by a vehicle and the driver fled from the scene.
The victim, identified as Rose Fox, 27, was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities believe the suspect was driving a dark-colored 2014-2018 Chevy Impala.
The incident is under investigation.
