Artiond Ivy killed in collision on Interstate 74 in Woodford County
Woodford County, IL. – One person was killed in a car accident that left another injured in Woodford County on Monday morning.
According to the Woodford County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 5 a.m. on Interstate 74 near the Goodfield exit.
Artiond Ivy, 30, of Peoria, was driving a vehicle eastbound when she crashed into a guardrail. A short time later, a second vehicle then crashed into Ivy’s disabled car.
Ivy was killed in the accident.
That second driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
