75-Year-Old Man Killed in Santa Fe Pedestrian Crash at Santa Fe Place Mall

Santa Fe, N.M. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a City of Santa Fe vehicle at a parking lot of a mall in Santa Fe on Monday evening, according to the Santa Fe Police Department.

The incident took place at the Santa Fe Place Mall on Cerrillos Road at about 4:35 p.m. on March 24.

According to the report, a driver in a Honda Civic accidentally drove forward instead of reversing and hit a pedestrian sitting on a bench.

The pedestrian, a 75-year-old man, was killed in the accident.

The driver of the Civic stayed at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the accident.
