Both drivers were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital in unknown conditions
Kendall County, IL. – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a head-on collision on Thursday morning, February 20, in Yorkville.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 7:17 a.m. on Illinois Route 126, east of Old Grove Road.
A white SUV reportedly collided head-on with a semi-truck in unclear circumstances.
Both drivers were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital in unknown conditions.
The collision resulted in the closure of both directions of IL-126 between Grove Road and Schlapp Road.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
