A westbound 2024 Ford Ranger was attempting to pass a slower-moving vehicle when it collided head-on with a semi-truck
Porter County, IN. – A man was killed in a head-on collision that occurred on Monday morning in Porter County.
According to the Porter County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 9 a.m. on February 24, in the area of US 20 and Brummitt Road.
Police say a 2024 Ford Ranger was traveling westbound on US 20 and was attempting to pass a slower-moving vehicle when it collided head-on with a semi-truck.
A second semi-truck was also involved in the accident.
The male driver of the Ford Ranger was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
