Indianapolis, IN. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Saturday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on February 22, in the area of Shadeland Avenue and East 65th Street.
A vehicle was heading northbound on North Shadeland Avenue when it struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle who hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
