One Killed and Five Injured in Miami Collision on Northwest 17th Avenue and 54th Street
Miami, FL. – One person was killed and several others were injured in a traffic collision that occurred in Miami on Sunday afternoon, according to the Miami Fire Rescue.
The incident was reported in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 54th Street on Sunday, March 23.
A big truck reportedly hit a car and the impact caused the car to flip and hit victims sitting at a bus stop.
One person was ejected from the car while another was trapped and had to be extricated.
One person was pronounced deceased following the accident.
Four other parties were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
A fifth patient was evaluated for injuries but was not transported.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is underway.
