Palmetto, FL – At least two people were injured when a plane went down and struck a truck at an airport in Palmetto on Tuesday, according to the Palmetto Police Department.

According to the report, an Aeronca Champion was attempting to take off when it went off course due to the wind gust and came back down.
The plane ended up hitting a truck at the airport.
The two occupants of the plane were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
It’s unclear whether anyone was hurt in the truck. The incident is under investigation
