The driver of the northbound vehicle was seriously injured in the accident and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment

Chicago, IL. – An 83-year-old woman was killed in a collision that left two others seriously injured on Thursday afternoon in southwest Chicago.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 2:17 p.m. at Ashley and Walker roads.
A car traveling north on Ashley Road entered the intersection and collided with a car traveling west on Walker Road.
The driver of the northbound vehicle was seriously injured in the accident and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
83-year-old Susan Guglielmi, of Yorkville, who was a passenger in the northbound car, was taken to an area hospital where she died.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was also hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
