Motorcyclist killed in collision on State Road 415 near Osceola Tram Road in Volusia County
Volusia County, FL. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Saturday night in Volusia County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:19 p.m. on State Road 415, north of Osceola Tram Road.
A 49-year-old Daytona Beach woman was riding a motorcycle northbound on S.R. 415 and crashed into a northbound pickup truck that entered the southbound lanes in an attempt to pass traffic.
The motorcycle burst into flames after the collision.
The unidentified motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
