The collision happened on South Lafayette Street and South Anthony Boulevard at about 8 p.m. on March 10.
The authorities reported that a pedestrian was trying to walk across the northbound lanes of South Lafayette Street when they were hit by a vehicle at the intersection.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
