Sweetwater, FL. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Tuesday evening near Sweetwater.
According to the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the accident happened around 5 p.m. at SW 112th Avenue and 12th Street.
A vehicle is reported to have struck a pedestrian near the Florida International University campus.
The pedestrian was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
