Las Vegas, NV – One person is dead and another is critically injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision on Cheyenne Road in Las Vegas Sunday afternoon, according to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision happened at about 12:30 p.m. on March 9 on the Cheyenne Road overpass at I-15 and involved two sedans.
NSP said one adult female driver died at the scene. The woman’s name was not immediately released.
The driver of the second sedan, also an adult female, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The Cheyenne Road overpass at I-15 was closed in both directions between Losee Road and Civic Center Road.
No additional information is available at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
