Phoenix, AZ – A motorcycle rider who was killed in a multi-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as 33-year-old Joshua Duante Johnson, according to the Phoenix Police Department

The deadly collision happened at the intersection of 59th and Glenrosa avenues at about 3:45 p.m. March 11.

According to the police, a motorcyclist reportedly collided with two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Investigators said Joshua Johnson was riding his motorcycle traveling northbound on 59th Avenue when he collided with a southbound vehicle attempting to make a left turn. The motorcycle then crashed into a second southbound vehicle.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the two cars remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
