A New Port Richey man was riding a motorcycle in the area and crashed into an SUV that was stopped ahead of him
Pasco County, FL. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night in Pasco County.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, the accident happened around 7:40 p.m. on Interstate 75 near County Road 54.
The 62-year-old New Port Richey man was riding a motorcycle in the area and hit an SUV that was stopped ahead of him.
The motorcyclist then hit another SUV that had merged into the outside lane.
The man died at the accident scene.
The SUV drivers were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
