Vanderburgh County, IN. – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Evansville on Thursday morning.
According to the Vanderburgh County dispatch, the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. in the area of Lloyd Expressway at Red Bank Road.
A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
