According to the police, the accident happened around 11 p.m. at 33rd Avenue and Grand Avenue.
A man was in a box truck that was stopped on the road in a construction area when it was hit by another truck. The man was working for a company that serviced the sewer system.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and will face DUI-related charges.
