Seneca Township, IL. – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Seneca Township on Tuesday afternoon, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident took place at about 4:18 p.m. on February 25, in the 15200 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road.

Authorities reported that a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox traveling eastbound was stopped to make a turn into a driveway when it was rear-ended by a 2000 Ford van.

The Ford was pushed into the westbound side, and it collided head-on with an oncoming 2019 Honda CRV.

The Ford’s driver, a 19-year-old woman, had critical injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital, after which she was flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

A passenger in the Ford, a 22-year-old man, was taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital and was said to be in stable condition.

The driver of the Honda, a 37-year-old man, was transported to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital and was also in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
