Woman killed in head-on collision on State Road 75 near Vontress Drive in Coatesville
Hendricks County, IN. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon in the town of Coatesville.
According to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal collision happened around 2 p.m. on State Road 75 near Vontress Drive.
A maroon GMC Envoy was traveling southbound on State Road 75 when it drove into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming Ford F-150.
The female driver of the GMC was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Ford F-150 was transported to Eskenazi Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
