Perry L. Murre was pronounced dead after a car and an SUV collided at about 6:15 a.m. on February 18 at Mt. Rose Highway near Wedge Parkway.

Reno, NV – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Reno on Tuesday has been identified by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office as 63-year-old Perry L. Murrel.
Murrel was pronounced dead after a car and an SUV collided at about 6:15 a.m. on February 18 at Mt. Rose Highway near Wedge Parkway.
Murrel was traveling westbound on the highway when he swerved into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with an eastbound vehicle.
A section of the highway was shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
