The man was found suffering from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital where he later died
Reno, NV. – 61-year-old David E Vigil has been identified by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car on Thursday night.
According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened on Kietzke Lane near Moana Lane at around 9 p.m. on February 7.
Vigil was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The man was found suffering from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital where he later died.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
