Man killed in a chain-reaction collision on Interstate 95 near mile marker 291 in Palm Coast
Flagler County, FL. – A teenager was killed in a chain-reaction collision on Thursday night near Palm Coast in Flagler County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 95 near mile marker 291 at around 10:14 p.m.
A car was traveling northbound on I-95 when it ran off the road, reentered the highway, and crashed into the back of another car driven by a 19-year-old Jacksonville man.
The impact of the collision caused the second car to sideswipe another vehicle traveling in the same direction.
Two pickup trucks were also involved in the accident.
The 19-year-old was killed in the accident.
The occupants of the other cars were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
