Port Richey, FL. – A woman died after being struck by a car on Wednesday night in Port Richey.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10 p.m. in the area of Ridge Road and Deeb Street.
A 23-year-old New Port Richey man was driving a Pontiac Vibe eastbound on Ridge Road when he struck a 66-year-old Port Richey woman who was crossing the road.
The woman died at the accident scene.
