Orlando man killed in head-on collision on Orange Blossom Trail near Parkgate Drive in Kissimmee
Osceola County, FL. –A 37-year-old Orlando man was killed in a wrong-way crash on Tuesday morning near Kissimmee.
The fatal collision happened around 1:43 a.m. on Orange Blossom Trail east of Parkgate Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The Orlando man was driving a 2017 Toyota Camry eastbound in the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2018 Dodge Challenger.
The Camry overturned onto its roof after the collision.
The Camry driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Challenger, a 25-year-old Haines City man, was critically injured and taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
