Margaret Hernandez was rushed to hospital following the crash but did not survive her injuries.
Phoenix, AZ. – Margaret Hernandez, 19, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday morning in West Phoenix.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. near 35th and Dunlap avenues, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Hernandez was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Dunlap when she was hit by a car that pulled in front of her from 35th Avenue.
Hernandez was rushed to hospital following the crash but did not survive her injuries.
The condition of the driver of the car was not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
