Man, 18, killed in pedestrian accident on International Speedway Boulevard in Volusia County
Volusia County, FL. – An 18-year-old man died after being struck by a car early Saturday morning in Volusia County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:52 a.m. on eastbound International Speedway Boulevard, east of Red John Drive.
The Orlando man was walking in the area and was hit by a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling eastbound.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The SUV driver and two passengers were unhurt.
FHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
