Las Vegas, NV – Two people were taken to a hospital after a multi-vehicle collision in the southwest Las Vegas Valley on Thursday afternoon, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Harmon Avenue and Jones Boulevard at about 1 p.m. January 30.
According to the report, a 2010 Scion TC and a 2018 Lexus were traveling south on Jones Boulevard when they collided with a 2000 Nissan Frontier, whose driver failed to yield to the right-of-way while crossing the intersection.
The impact pushed the Nissan into a 2003 Jeep Wrangler that was stopped to make a turn at the intersection.
The drivers of the Scion and the Lexus were hospitalized with major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident, according to the police report.
The investigation is ongoing.
