1 Killed in Fort Myers Motorcycle Accident at Evergreen Road and Cleveland Avenue

A woman was driving a sedan when she entered the northbound lanes of the highway in front of a motorcycle and both collided

Fort Myers, FL. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident at an intersection in North Fort Myers on Tuesday evening.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Evergreen Road and N Cleveland Avenue (U.S.-41) at around 5:37 p.m.

A woman was driving a sedan when she entered the northbound lanes of the highway in front of a motorcycle and both collided.

The 70-year-old man driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

A third driver, a 55-year-old man, also hit the woman’s car. The woman suffered minor injuries.

The third driver was unhurt.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
